Kaitlyn Gentry is the co-founder and lead interior designer at The Village Social, a Charleston-based shop featuring classic home furnishings and a full-service interior design studio. After graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree in business, Kaitlyn worked in corporate finance for six years. The Village Social shop and design studio was founded in 2022 after years of designing personal family homes as well as designing spaces for friends and family.
Kaitlyn’s eye for design has been honed through an appreciation and lifelong interest in classic interiors and architecture. Kaitlyn’s passion for design combined with her understanding of her clients’ needs has led her to design projects ranging from traditional to contemporary.
When not in the studio, Kaitlyn loves spending time with her husband, Chris, and two boys, Graham and Hayes. You will find her family enjoying time at the beach or on the water and exploring our beautiful town in Charleston, S.C.
